This charming backpack is handwoven of cotton on the foot pedal loom, featuring a multicolored striped design. The artisans at El Salvador’s Women Leaders of La Colorada craft their design, elaborating it with adjustable straps and a handle. Zipper pockets at the front and back can be used to store small items. The top flap lifts open with a magnetic snap, revealing a drawstring closure that opens to a black cotton lining with two open pockets. The underside of the flap also features a zipper pocket.
